FAQ'S

As pregnancy progresses, the pelvis expands and flexes to allow enough space for the developing fetus and in preparation for birth. The expansion of the pelvic bones and the flexibility of the cartilage cause, among other things, an increase in the space between the thighs. While lying in the recommended sleeping position during pregnancy - on the side - this gap interferes with the support of the upper leg by the lower leg and this causes a load (extra weight) on the pelvis and the lower back. We "cover" this gap with a pillow between the thighs. For this to work, it is important that the thickness of the pillow allows the upper thigh to be exactly at the level of the pelvis. Therefore, not every pillow will help for this purpose, but a pillow that can precisely adjust to the space created in your thighs at each stage of pregnancy.
Correct adjustment of the baby's height to the breast allows for a good connection and thus the sucking action is effective and not painful. Incorrect connection to the nipple may cause cracks, slow milk flow and more. The baby can be brought closer to the breast with the help of the arm or with the support of a nursing pillow. It is important that the nursing pillow is flexible and has a variable thickness so that it fits every body shape and baby size.

How to take care and adjust your pillow?

In order to make our pillow universal to all women and stages of pregnancy, the Moonlove pillow is made with the maximum amount of filling.
  • You can adjust the height / thickness of the Moonlove pillow by adding or Removing some of the filling.
  • Removing the filling is quick and easy - open the outer zipper, as well as the lining zipper. Remove some of the filling and spread the rest of the filling along the pillow evenly (or, if you want different support on the head and legs, you can reduce the filling on only one end). We recommend that you keep the filling, so that if need be it could be used again in the pillow.
  • If you want a sturdier pillow, or after use you feel that you need an additional refill - contact us and we will happily provide you with a refill at no additional cost.
